After running my own company, De Grønne Fætre (The Green Cousins), from 2012 to 2022—and following more than 40 years of professional employment – I chose to take early retirement as of July 1, 2022 - due to death in the family. This until my formal retirement in July 2025, this meant that operating an independent business was not possible.
Today, De Grønne Fætre has regained its original CVR number (33979819) and has become the operating company.
In connection with this, I have also established Global Climate & Environment ApS, a non-financial holding company.
The foundation for this company lies in my long-standing passion and hands-on experience with climate-conscious, environmentally responsible, and energy-efficient construction. Over the years, I have worked extensively on developing innovative, sustainable, and climate-adapted energy and building technology solutions, with a strong focus on circular economy principles.
Throughout my career, I have consistently pursued a project-based and holistic approach. This perspective has been enriched through continuous dialogue with my cousins in South Funen and with my cousin on Samsø, Søren Hermansen, Director of the Energy Academy, on topics such as ecology, sustainability, and climate, environmental, and energy policy.
Professionally, I have collaborated with architects, consulting engineers, contractors, craftsmen, and suppliers of renewable energy technologies, as well as rainwater and wastewater management solutions. I also value my active participation in several professional networks focused on construction, sustainability, and the green transition.
At the heart of all these efforts is a clear objective: to contribute – through collaboration and dialogue with a wide range of stakeholders – to reducing the negative trajectory of CO₂ emissions. The global community is now facing the severe consequences of not acting early enough to recognize and address the critical role of CO₂ in driving the dramatic climate changes we are witnessing today.
